Hose Reel Leader Hoses
Carrying around more than 50 feet of hose is difficult and tiring due to the weight. However, if you use a reel, you can move long lengths of hose with ease, then unwind only as much hose as you need. This makes it practical to use hoses up to 150 feet long.
A leader garden hose connects the reel to the spigot. This hose needs the right ends for both the spigot and the inlet on your reel. Since this isn’t standardized, we offer hose reel leader hoses with dual female and both female and male connections. If you want a hose that works anywhere, get our Element® Universal+® Leader Hose. It has female connections on both ends paired with a male adapter permanently strapped to one end of the hose, so it can connect anywhere.
